Anne loses custody of secret child

First I had a dream about this girl Anne who I've been hanging out with in real life recently. In my dream, we were together somewhere on a rainy day. We were having an alright time, but somewhere in there it came out that she had a kid from a previous marriage. It was unbelievable. I even got to meet her ex-husband, a wiry, pathetic fellow named Darcy. The thing that was so weird was that, knowing that she worked full time, I figured out that she couldn't possibly have custody of her child. This led me to wonder what her deal was, knowing that it's rare for a mother to lose custody of her children, especially to such a weaselly man.
